Whether you are a CFI, a student pilot or a pilot, you need this app.

Radionav sim helps you understand and sharpen your radio-navigation skills. It simulates two instruments of your choice:

• RBI (ADF)
• RMI (ADF)
• VOR
• HSI

Turn the compass card or select a radial using the iPhone’s intuitive touch interface.

Move the stations and the aircraft on the map and observe how the indications on the instruments change. Use two fingers in the map view to change the aircraft’s heading.

In quiz mode the aircraft is hidden and you (or your student) has three chances to tap on the screen and find the aircraft’s correct location.

This app is a must for CFIs. Configure an exercise, position the aircraft, set its heading, move the stations, and then hide the aircraft and let you student find its position.

The “Help Lines” features add more to the display:

• The selected radial
• The reciprocal radial
• The TO / FROM sectors separation lines
• Line from the aircraft to an NDB
